Saturday Cell Phone Mosiac
It was a busy Saturday for the Ladybug house....big day indeed. We headed down in the morning to our hometown to hit a few stores. Grabbed some cool Buckeye shirts and a handbag. Then we headed to the local dog pound to look at a dog that we have been thinking about adopting. We wanted to get her out and play with her a little bit to see how her temperament was. She was very excited, but who wouldn't be after being stuck in a concrete cell for the last few months. Once she got some of her energy out, she was leaning against us and cuddling and just being happy to be paid attention to.
We talked with the guy working and he stated she had been dropped off a few months ago because someone couldn't keep her in their apartment. She has been spayed and has her shots. She knows kinda how to sit and shake, so we think she will be easy to train. We have talked in the past about getting a black lab puppy, but when we heard about this dog, from my husbands grandmother (who wrote us a letter and sent us the dogs picture from the paper) who just knew this dog would be good for us and we would be good for the dog, it just seemed like it might be better to save a dog who probably won't be picked and not have a choice to have its life ended. Its just heartbreaking to think about the alternative for such a sweet dog with great potential.
So tomorrow we are going to start prepping the house for the girl, who is yet to be named. My husband will go pick her up on Monday after we get her chipped. We are hoping that Emma is excited and will get along with her new sister. She is our top priority and we don't want her stress out about someone else coming in, but we think she will quickly enjoy having the company of another dog. So please say a prayer that happens.
Aftrer that. we came back home and watched Ohio State dominate Ohio Univeristy. Then I went and walked 2.25 miles and got ready to head to my inlaws to pick up a few things. When we got to their town, we saw a police car and flashing lights and the bombsquad. Heh? Yeah we stopped at Subway to get a sandwich and ended up being right beside the action. Ends up that a man found some old artillery shells in his basement and then weren't sure if they were safe or not, so that was interesting. We evenutally got our dinner, picked up our stuff and then headed our my husbands brothers where they had a fire. It was a great chilly night for a fire!

Saturday Cell Phone Mosiac
Hello all...its been a long busy draining week. I just realized I haven't posted since last week's mosiac. wow that hasn't happened for a while. I'm hoping that this week is less stressful. Fingers crossed.
So today was a fun day around the ladybug house. It was a beautiful morning, started out kinda cool. We started the day off going to the Farmers Market. Got some spice mixes to make a few things. We were walking past the gourmet cupcake booth and they had come Buckeye Cupcakes sprinkled with red and silver jimmies, I pointed them out to my husband and the lady asked if we liked Red Velvet Cake. We said yes, and she gave us a box with a slice of their famous red velvet cake to eat as a victory treat when the Buckeyes win. How thoughtful...those cupcakes looked awesome. Chocolate with peanut butter cream filling and icing. YUM.
After that we went to the local orchard to pick some honeycrisp apples. Its a tradition we have been doing for the last 3 years. They are the best apples ever. And by the time you fill one of the large bags, you have about 20 lbs of apples! Not bad for $25! If you keep them refrigerated or cool, they last until November or December. We got 3 large bags full, and will give them to various family members and friends. They normally are picked out in the first day at the orchard, so we get a lot.
Then we came back and got ready to watch Ohio State tame the Miami Hurricanes. They won so that was awesome. A few field goals when there should have been touchdowns, but I'll take the points and it ended in a win so all is well. Did some laundry and now we are watching Alabama dominate Penn State. Not sure if I'll enjoy any of the cake tonight or let the Mr. enjoy it all.

Saturday Cell Phone Mosiac
Hope everyone had a good Saturday. It was a beautiful fall Saturday here in Ohio, the temps were in the low 70's all day and today looks to be about the same. Soo looking forward to fall weather...jeans and boots...can't wait!
We had a get together at a friends house yesterday afternoon so I spent some of the day getting stuff for my dishes that I was going to bring to the party. A few trips to the grocery store and we were on our way. They live in a small town and alot of the nieghbors were there. It was fun...they had a bouncehouse for the kids...they were loving it.
I am going to be hosting Saturday Cell Phone Mosiac for a while (thanks Ace!) so be sure to snap pictures thoughout your Saturday and hook up next week if you missed out this week. I make my mosiacs in Picasa, but you can do it in any program. If you need directions on how to do it, let me know and I'll email you directions. Saturday Cell Phone Mosiac
Hi everybody! Happy Saturday...hope you all are having a good day. I'm thrilled to be hosting Saturday Cell Phone Mosiac for Ace this week....so thanks for stopping over and linking up!
It's been a calm one around here for the most part. Getting some stuff cleaned up and organized around the house, got some special friends coming next weekend! Got up early and attempted to do Day 2 of Week 5 for the C25K program which should be 5 min Walk, 8 min Run, 5 Walk, 8 Run. Started out good and finished the first 8 minute interval without stopping! I felt awesome and was so proud of myself. Then after my walk and I started my next 8 minute interval, I started getting a little stabby pain in my right side, so ended up walking the rest of the 1/3 mile. But I did one interval and I know I can do more next time!
My husband heard a mouse in the attic and I (who am not a fan of mice...at all) spent most of the morning after I got back from my run listening to see if it sounded like it was scampering above me. Ugh...hate those little things. I know I know, they are more scared of me then I am of them...but they still are so quick and creepy and sharp toothed....yug I seriously can't tolerate them. They creep me out, so we out something up there today hopefully to get rid of him, whom we have been calling Mr. BoJangles.
Going to watch a movie tonight and just chill....its been raining most of the day, so its been housework and lounging most of the day. Just seems like a nice way to end it.

Saturday Cell Phone Mosiac
Its been a relaxing Saturday, so this is gonna be a pretty boring mosiac. Got up chilled for a bit before heading out to hit a few yard sales and stopping at Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. Came back, had a late lunch and fell asleep for about an hour watching Ninja Warrior on G4. If you have never seen it, you need to check it out....its just awesome. Watched a little more when I woke up and then went to make sure I won an auction on eBay. And I did...oh happy day!
Unloaded up the dishwasher before starting dinner, enjoyed a frosty beverage or two with dinner and started to watch the guys replace the toilet seat in my bathroom. Well needless to say, it was a little harder then we thought. Its a one piece toilet and for some stupid reason, unlike most toilets, that have the nut thingie underneath that you can unscrew the bolts that hold the hinges on, this model has built in things that you can't reach. Great, so of course it wouldn't come unscrewed and just kept spinning....pretty soon the dremmel came out and the bolts got cut off. So they are at Walmart trying to find new bolts to attach the new seat properly. Oy...nothing can be easy can it? Hopefully it will be finished by morning. Fingers crossed.

What a busy Saturday is has been. Got up early, got my run in, did lots of cleaning around the house and then was ready to chill and relax with the hubs and my pooch. Then next thing I know, it was 4:30 and I was waking up on the couch...fell asleep watching Back to the Future Marathon. Ended up heading to southern Columbus to a barn sale to look at some vinyl. Spent a few hours there then headed back home, took a wrong turn and went a few miles in the wrong direction. Anyway, made it back to where we would have been about 30 minutes later. Grabbed some dinner on the way and got home about 10:30ish. I'm gonna sleep good tonight!
Saturday Cell Phone Mosiac
Compared to last Saturday, yesterday was pretty boring. It was almost 134 dgrees outside when I got up at 8:15 so I opted not to go for my run when I let Emma out and almost couldn't breathe. Worried me a little after my Thursday night freak out, so I didn't want to overheat. Instead stayed inside and got caught up on my cleaning and organizing. Watched a movie in the afternoon, Pirate Radio which was pretty good. Ran to the market at the end of the day to pick up a few things for dinner tonight. I'm getting my hair cut and having dinner at my aunts place, so I'm bringing dessert and some texas caviar. Hope you all had a good weekend!

Saturday Cell Phone Mosiac
So it has been one heck of a weekend! And not in a good way at all. Friday evening started with us picking up Subway for dinner then doing some laundry. I had been sneezing all day long, so my allergies were in overdrive. I started searching for some ideas for home improvements and before I knew it, it was almost 9:30. So I called my Grandma to check in with her and took my contacts out and took an antihistime and got my pj's on. Well by the time I got back downstairs to put the last load in the dryer....i felt like I was going to pass out.
I literally felt like the left side of my head was pulsing and like I had just stared at a bright light, you know when you see a black glow. Then the right side was kinda pulsing like someone was doing jazz hands or something. All the time a slight migraine thump was going on. So i laid down and hoped it would pass. Felt like I was going to yak. Hubs was worried and thought about taking me to urgent care or something, because it wasn't like a normal migraine and i felt really dizzy. It didn't go away, so after laying there for a bit, I went up to bed to lay down in the dark. Hubs got me a wet washcloth. Something wasn't right.
I laid in the dark kinda drifting in and out of sleep, he came up later and gave me some aspirin. I eventually fell asleep and the pulsing stopped. And I didn't get out of bed until 11 the next morning. My body needed sleep. It had been a crazy week at work, and with the allergies and sneezing, I think my body/mind just went whack for a bit.. But I'm better now. Thank goodness I woke up normal today, yesterday just felt like a long recovery from a drunkfest or something. But no, just a wild night of Subway, Laundry and looking for doors on Home Depot. Woohoo....overkill heh?
So anyway, long story short, Saturday wasn't all that exciting. So this may be the shortest and lamest SCPM ever. Sorry, it's all I got. Hope you all had a great day and are refreshed for the week. Gonna be a busy week for me. Got a very important OB appt, my Grandma is having a heart cath, and I'm turning another year older. Whew...buckle up it's gonna be a busy week.

Happy 4th of July everyone! First day of a three day weekend, and it was beautiful outside and should be for the next 2 days! Off to enjoy a cookout with the family today and hopefully check out my new swimsuit. Have a wonderful day!

Hope you all are enjoying your weekend. It was a relaxing Saturday, a hot one but I got a few things done that I wanted to (running, downloading iOS4, weeding the back, and cleaning my bathroom) and ended the evening at the Lake with my husbands family. We left just as storms were getting ready to come and the lightening began. Was pretty zonked when we got home so I wasn't' long out of bed. Had a little tummy ache which has lingered on a little today.

Well I'm not sure about where you are, but it was a hot one today here in Ohio!We had a yardsale this weekend, so I was at the house all day and it felt like it was probably 150 degrees with 125% humidity. Seriously. I honestly thought I was going to be melting. Oh well it was fun, got rid of some stuff and made a little extra cash.

Hope you all had a good Saturday.We slept in and then went to a few yardsales and ran around to make a few returns. It was pretty rainy off and on all day, and had planned on getting stuff ready for the yardsale next weekend but that didn't happen. I totally forgot about my sister in laws college graduation party last night so we ended the night at his brothers place hanging out with his side of the family. By the time we got home, we sat to watch SNL and I fell asleep before the musical guest was finished. Have Precious to watch, so that will have to wait till tonight. Because today will be spent going theru the basement finding things that we don't need and putting them in the sell pile! Wish me luck!Stop over and share your Saturday with Ace.

Happy Saturday friends! It was a relaxing day, after a busy wedding last weekend, I feel like it's been 2 weeks since I had a few days off. It was supposed to be a beautiful day but we had some pop-up showers which kept us indoors until evening. But that's ok, got alot done and I'm sitting in a clean house as I type this post.
My husbands best friend came down to visit so I'm sure we are probably going to hang out and watch a movie in a bit. I've had a few glasses of wine so I actually could probably fall asleep in about thirty minutes, but I'll do my best to stay up and hang for a bit. I'm such a fuddy dud already in my old age!

Saturday Cell Phone Mosiac
What a great Saturday! Nothing on the calender, no events, just me and my husband enjoying the day together. We took our time getting up, enjoyed some breakfast before heading out to Jo-Anns and Target. We also drove by a huge warehouse that they are going to be demolishing soon, it was an old appliance factory so you know there are probably tons of old machinery and appliances and old tags. It makes me sad to think of a main structure being gone from the skyline. Afterwards we came back and started trying to organize our music from the broken hard drive intot the new one by artist...so that took a few hours. We ended the night picking up Chinese for dinner and then watched Premonition.
I have been having a rough week, lots of heaviness and overthinking. I must say yesterday was good for my soul, I felt more love and serenity yesterday then I have in a long time....and it felt great! Its all around me, I just need to let it in.
